Kumari State Conference - Rising Kumari Hindus

In 1982, it was decided to hold the Second Hindu Unity Rise Conference in Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil. The Tamil Nadu government has banned the holding of a conference for the minority community. Several people, including Aiya Thanulinga Nadar and Veerathuruvi Rama Gopalji, were arrested for attempting to hold a convention and a procession in defiance of the ban.Kottaru Tiyagi Kumar was martyred in a shootout with protesters. Criminal cases were also registered against Hindus in various sections.

In 1983, the Second Hindu Unity Rise Conference was held again in Nagercoil due to the unwavering desire to hold on to such hardships.

As a result of the Hindu Munnani turning the Hindu uprising in the Kanyakumari district into a Hindu vote bank, the Hindu Munnani-backed Suu Kyi candidate in the Padmanabhapuram constituency in the 1984 assembly elections, Mr. Vai. Balachander They won. Mr. M. Mohandas and Mr. M.R. Gandhi lost by a narrow margin.
