Sir Thanulinga Nadar

Arasu Raja

He was born on 12-8-1953 in Anandanvilai village, Sathankulam taluka, Thoothukudi district, as the son of Goddess Thangapandian, Goddess Kasimani Ammal. He was interested in paranormal medicine from an early age and worked as a doctor in that field. He joined the Hindu Front in 1982 and started his social work. From the time he was in charge of Sathankulam taluka in the early days he was due to go to the Hindu Front in all the rural areas. Learned RSS setup tutorials. He contested in the local government elections and was elected as the Chairman of the Arasur Panchayat. He provided drinking water and road facilities in the areas under the Panchayat.

Mr. Jayakumar hoisted the Jana Sanga flag at the Nellai District Jana Sanga District Conference held in Tirunelveli in 1976. Aiya Thanulinga Nadar and Rama Gopalan were arrested and lodged in Palayankottai Central Jail after the Hindu Uprising Conference was banned in Kanyakumari in 1982 after the launch of the Hindu Front. Mr. V.P. Jayakumar was also arrested and imprisoned at Palayankottai Central Jail for protesting against their arrest in Thiruchendur.
