1983 Shrine Meetings
In many places during the early days of the Hindu Front, the police and the government severely disrupted the Hindu Front's activities. It was not allowed to hold public meetings, especially among the people, to incorporate the principles of the movement. Hindu Front officials were prosecuted in several places.
In such a harsh environment, the Hindu Front faced this situation and overcame the challenge.Shrine meetings were started on the basis that the Hindu Front would go towards the people if they refused to allow large gatherings and did not allow the people to come together.
The shrine meeting is a place where people from the villages are invited to sit on the roof of a house and take our ideas for granted.This allows them to get acquainted with each other and sometimes become a chat room that attracts people.
Through this they will come in contact and become the leaders of the Hindu Front and come forward to work with confidence.On this basis these inexpensive shrine meetings were held throughout Tamil Nadu.
