2001 - Tiruppur arrests 85 people
The Hindu Front 2002 riots, which turned prison bars into ladders, were the main reason for the formation of the Hindu Front as a grand movement in the Coimbatore division. Yes! About 85 people were incarcerated. It took 60 days to be released on bail. As soon as he was released on bail, it was decided to teach the Communists a lesson because of all this. Bail was granted on condition that no one in the case could work from Tirupur and stay in Salem and Dindigul on conditional bail.
It was announced that a seminar would be held on the topic of Communists as an obstacle to industrial development, focusing on the fact that industry did not grow in communist developed countries and communist did not grow in industrialized countries, and theoretical placards were put up all over Tirupur. The anti-professional activities of the Communists were propagated throughout the city through cartoons, maps, and leaflets. This was strongly objected to by the Communists. On this occasion the State Executive Committee of the Hindu Front was held for two days at the Kulalar Wedding Hall in Lakshmi Nagar, Tirupur.
The seminar was announced at the Tirupur Town Hall on Sunday evening, the second day. None of the executives are in town. Now the case against more than 100 people, the protesters were brave enough to know who will come to the Hindu Front meeting. But what happened was different, some people were already planning to tour every branch day and night and bring all the Hindu Front volunteers to the event 100%.
Due to this, just 10 minutes before the start of the program, thousands of volunteers began to gather at the Townhall Grounds chanting national devotional slogans. The town hall was packed with more than 3,000 volunteers
The event was a turning point in the history of the Tirupur Hindu Front. After this the work began to pick up speed, planning in time as the organizational work needed to be strengthened.
If you look at the old documents in the police stations in Tirupur so far, it is clear that hundreds of cases have been registered as the Communist Hindu Front clash. It comes as no surprise to us that the Hindu Front movement has grown tremendously despite so many cases.
Hindu means thief
Karunanidhi, who was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2002, condemned the claim that a Hindu is a thief and said he was mentally ill. The paranoid favorite prayed at the Mahalinga Swamy Temple in Thiruvidaimarudur and sent offerings to him with the prayer that he would recover soon. This prayer struggle which created a stir all over Tamil Nadu, the late Co.C. It also allowed writers like Mani and Chinnakuttu to talk and write about our struggle.
